TJ Case is a professional musician who was born into a very musical family and first picked up drumsticks when he was two years old. Initially learning from his musician father, Ontario music legend and Great Northern Opry inductee Mike Case, TJ has continued learning and perfecting his craft becoming a reliable, versatile, much sought after, high energy performer in multiple musical genres and styles. He was an experienced session musician and record producer in his native Canada before coming to Nashville to work on his current projects. He has played in music festivals for thousands of people and in clubs, showcases and concert venues. He is also a high energy performer in Nashville clubs and on tours. Performing as TJDrums on livestream platforms such as YouNow and Twitch, he has amassed nearly 7 million views with over 83 thousand fans on YouNow. In additions to his live performances in Nashville, he also worked as the sole drummer on an album with Nashville based singer/songwriter & performer Tyson Hanes and famed producer and musician, Sol Philcox-Littlefield. The album, State of Emergency,, will be released in mid 2020. Several singles, including the title track, have already been released and have charted in Canada.
TJ works as the permanent drummer for Tyson Hanes, and worked with such stalwart Nashville performers as Nick Cross, Danny Lee Dunn, Shane Chisholm, Clyde & Shane Sutton, Romeo Vaughn, and others, both in Nashville and on the road. He is also working on several other studio projects. His bands in the US and Canada have opened for artists such as Lonestar, Crystal Shawanda, Emerson Drive and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. He has recently played on stage with Luke Bryan and Cole Swindell.
